How many types of wedge patterns could a market create?
KEY NOTES:
- Wedge patterns are simply a triangle pattern without the two ends meeting before a market breakout or breakdown happens
- Just like triangle patterns, there are 3 types of wedge patterns
- Falling wedge
- Rising wedge
- Sideways wedge
- Wedge patterns must breakout or breakdown in every market scenario, just like triangle patterns do
- Wedge patterns also can be considered a bull or bear flag depending on the market situation
