Pi Network App – Create Pi Wallet

Please follow the steps below to create your Pi Wallet address.

Send me a DM if you are having problems.

Step 1 – Open the Pi Network app and tap the menu icon

Step 2 – Tap “Mainnet” in the menu options

Step 3 – Tap the “Mainnet Checklist” button

Step 4 – Tap the “Create a Pi Wallet” button

Step 5 – Tap the “SIGN IN TO PI BROWSER” button

Step 6 – Tap the “Wallet.pi” icon

Step 7 – Tap the orange “GENERATE WALLET” button

Step 8 – You will get the next screen that says “Your wallet is successfully created! Store your passphrase”.

VERY IMPORTANT – Write down the passphrase; tap the orange COPY button and paste the passphrase into some other app; or take a full screenshot of the entire passphrase and keep it somewhere that you can get it at any time. You will need this passphrase to unlock your wallet to transfer funds when desired!!!

Step 9 – Did you write down your passphrase on a piece of paper? Do this now if you didn’t already and keep it somewhere safe. If you did write it down, go to step 10. I cannot stress to you enough for how important this step is…

Step 10 – Did you tap the orange COPY button and paste the passphrase somewhere in your phone in another app to be able to access it anytime later? If you did not paste it in another app (i.e.- text msg, email, other chat app, etc), please do that now before going to step 11.

Step 11 – Unlock your wallet using the passphrase you just copied. Paste the passphrase into the box shown on the app screen and then tap the orange “UNLOCK WITH PASSPHRASE” button

Step 10 – You should see your wallet address and privacy preferences on the next screen. Click the orange “CONTINUE” button. NOTE: You can copy your wallet address from this screen if ever needing to send to someone for receiving Pi tokens or verifying other steps in the launch process.

Finished – Your Pi wallet should show either the Testnet 100.00000000 Pi or Mainnet -0 Pi balance. You can toggle between the two until they remove the Testnet at a later date.
